in four parts; „The Champion,“ „Work,“ „Jitney

Elopement,“ in two reels, and „By the Sea,“ a one-reel.

„Carmen“ will be presented the week of January

of these Chaplin productions in the State of New York

since their reissue, and will be followed by first run bookings

throughout the country.

„An absolute novelty“

Editorial content. „Rialto Theatre.

Hammerstein‘s Victoria, in its day the best known

vaudeville house in America, definitely

passed out of existence to-day. S. L. Rothapfel, the

managing director of the Rialto Theatre, which

is to stand on this site, has begun with an army of decorators,

architects, electricians and designers to arrange plans

for the theatre‘s interior and exterior.

From plans already practically approved it may be

stated that the exterior of the theatre will

be an absolute novelty in the line of architecture.“
