in September.

Charlie Chaplin has gone into the mountains with Harry
Crocker, his assistant director, to put in three weeks
on the script of „The Circus,“ upon which production will
shortly resume after having suddenly halted by Chaplin‘s sudden
exit from California during his matrimonial troubles
last spring.
Myrna Kennedy will continue as Chaplin‘s leading lady.
While away in the mountains Chaplin has instructed
his employees to have his Beverly Hills home fumigated as soon
as his former wife vacates early in September.

Editorial content. „Arthur Kelly Back East
Arthur W. Kelly, United Artists‘ vice president and general
manager of foreign distribution, has returned to New
York City from a fortnight spent in Los Angeles in consultation
with Joseph M. Schenck of United Artists. Mr. Kelly
made several important announcements on his return:
1. CHARLES CHAPLIN (whose personal representative
Mr. Kelly has been for some years) will resume
production on The Circus in September, all arrangements
having been made at the studio in Hollywood, which
is again the scene of activity. Mr. Kelly said Mr. Chaplin has
only ,odds and ends‘ of the film to finish, the bulk of the
shooting having been done.“ (...)
