      Chaplin Making New Comedy

      Charles Chaplin is shortly to put the final touches

to his United Artists‘ comedy based on the

Alaska gold rush. Chaplin began shooting on this early

last February and has kept moving ever since.

He expects to complete the feature comedy which will bring

him back to the screen in garb and role that the

public knows him best, by October.

Charlie Chaplin will require

another two months, at least to finish his United Artists‘

comedy based on Klondike in the gold rush days.

He began shooting last February and his studio on La Brea

is the coolest looking spot in Hollywood this summer

due to the snow clad mountains he has built on the lot.“
