New York, June 4. – After 29 weeks‘ work Charlie Chaplin
finally has completed his latest silent picture which
still is known only as „Production No. 5.“ Chaplin, of course,
directed it and it is supposed to be released in three
months although at the leisurely pace at which it has been
produced it may be Christmas to showing it to the
public. The cast includes Paulette Goddard, Carter de Haven,
Henry Bergman – who has been in many of the
Chaplin comedies – Chester Conklin, Norman Ainsley,
Alan Garcia and Tiny Sanford.
