Wells and Tunney Guests of Chaplin

      H. G. WELLS (left), British author, who is in Hollywood

writing a book, and Gene Tunney (centre), former

heavyweight boxing champion, are shown with Charlie Chaplin

at a cocktail party given by Chaplin to introduce Wells

to the movie colony. Chaplin‘s hand was injured in an auto

door accident recently.

colony. Chaplin‘s hand is in a sling because of an injury

in an automobile mishap.
