Motion Picture Herald, New York, May 30, 1936,

Ghost Pickets Theatre. For „Ghost Goes West,“ Al Lippe,

publicity head, Loew‘s State, Newark, N. J., had man

dressed as ghost parade, carrying sign that theatre was unfair

to organized ghosts. Lippe also rounded up a flock

of new model bannered Lincolns for additional publicity.

  1. N.J., was the two man street bally of Chaplin impersonators

wearing the giant star heads. Lippe did a bit of

traffic-entangling with the stunt.“
