Island after finishing Shoulder Arms.

Harris. The little girl who became the wife of the world‘s
greatest comedian is here shown with Louis B.
Mayer, looking over the papers by which – when she signed
her signature – she became a Mayer star – with
a bonus of $100,000. The new Mayer star will be presented
as Mildred Harris Chaplin. This picture was
taken shortly before the birth of the short-lived little son.
