The NEW ADVENTURES OF CHARLIE CHAPLIN.
Providence, in the shape of a detected thief,
puts a wallet into Charlie Chaplin‘s hip-pocket while he is
watching the fun of the fair. With the wealth he finds
inside, he orders stodgy pies and sausages until, the wallet‘s
owner happening to stop at the stall, he has to fly
into the ,maze of mirrors,‘ where terror-stricken Charlies in
dozens stare at him whichever way he looks.
That is exactly what it feels like to be a clown
of real life. (...) M. W. D.
