$65,000 First Week
First week of Modern Times, which ends tonight at the
Rivoli, is expected to show approximately $65,000
on the books. This is considered unusual for the house.
Estimates yesterday were that the Chaplin
film will continue at the house at least six weeks. Loew‘s
will get it first run after the Rivoli showing.“
