Three noted film stars and a radio headliner have offered
their services in a series of radio talks to help push
the ,Buy Now‘ drive of the NRA. The first to go on the air was
Marie Dressler, who was heard from New York last night
over the NBC network. Also this evening Mary Pickford will speak
in behalf of the NRA from the coast, with a second radio
appearance scheduled for the following Saturday. Charles
Chaplin will speak from Hollywood on Oct. 23.“ (...)
