Girl Chaplin Kissed Goes Back
To Stage; Denies Romance Looms
Two photos. Charlie Chaplin kissed her – but that isn‘t

„And if that doesn‘t convince people that I‘m not contemplating marriage, I don‘t know what will,“ she concludes.

New York.
As she stepped from a transcontinental plane at Grand
Central Airport last night and into the automobile
of Charles Chaplin she denied reports that she was the
comedian‘s fiancee.
,I did a little shopping shopping in New York,‘ she
confided, ,but it wasn‘t for a trousseau.‘
Then she told of her plans to leave within two weeks
for Tahiti.“ (...)
